Kevin McDonald, co-founder of The Kids in the Hall, is coming to London, Ontario for the Sorry! Comedy Festival, running November 4–7, 2026 across multiple venues in the city. He’s joined by Casey Rocket, a rising Kill Tony regular who went from sleeping in a Ford Escape to performing at Joe Rogan’s Comedy Mothership in Austin.
The festival’s lineup is genuinely stacked across four nights. On the Centennial Hall main stage, three international headliners with Netflix and Amazon specials take the spotlight: Matteo Lane, Steph Tolev, and Chris Fleming. Spotlight Shows at Aeolian Hall bring Casey Rocket (Friday, November 6 at 7:30 pm), Jiaoying Summers (Thursday, November 5 at 7:30 pm), and Chloe Radcliffe (Saturday, November 7 at 7:00 pm). There’s also a late-night Saturday show, Stand-Up On the Spot with Jeremiah Watkins, hitting Aeolian Hall at 9:30 pm.
Beyond the headliners, the festival has club nights at Wolf Performance Hall, and the SlideSlam! Canadian finals, which the festival describes as one of the fastest-growing comedy competitions in the country. NYC comedian Brendan Sagalow performs at Laser Quest on Friday, November 6, and London-adjacent road comic Jason Allen tapes his third live stand-up album at Laser Quest on Saturday, November 7, at 149 Carling Street.
As for McDonald, the festival’s Facebook page lists his credits as spanning Seinfeld, Friends, That ’70s Show, Arrested Development, Corner Gas, and voice work across animated television, plus a Canadian Comedy Award. He’s kept performing with The Kids in the Hall while developing solo live projects. The fact that he’s doing a festival in London, Ontario rather than Toronto is a small win for this city.
Casey Rocket’s arc is the kind of thing Kill Tony fans already know by heart, but for the uninitiated: he moved to Texas in 2021, won the inaugural Austin Comedy Competition, got into the first class of Door Guys at the Comedy Mothership, and was named a Kill Tony regular in early 2024. Deadline named him one of the 15 comedians ready to break out in 2025. His Aeolian Hall show is November 6.
The name “Sorry! Comedy Festival” is a direct riff on London once being tagged “The Saddest City in Canada.” The festival’s own posts lean into that hard, framing the whole thing as four days of proof that the label was nonsense. The SlideSlam! Canadian finals alone make a decent case.
