October at Storybook Gardens is about to look a lot different after dark. Pumpkins After Dark is back at 1958 Storybook Lane from October 2 to October 31, 2026, bringing over 10,000 hand-carved jack-o’-lanterns to London’s west end for the full month.
If you haven’t been, the setup is a walk-through outdoor trail where thousands of pumpkins, carved by hand and lit from within, are arranged into themed scenes. Think dinosaurs, dragons, castles, pop-culture stuff. No jump scares, no haunted house chaos. It’s designed to be friendly enough for toddlers and impressive enough for adults who just want a fall night out.
This year’s London edition is adding some new elements. According to the event’s Facebook posts, 2026 brings a brand-new Bee Hive Maze, Canadiana displays, and an Asylum Trailer for ages 13 and up with limited ticket availability. There’s also a word search, puzzles, a pumpkin toss game, a trick or treat area, costumed actors, live pumpkin carving demonstrations, and seasonal treats.
Pet Nights are confirmed for October 14, 21, and 28.
Tickets are time-slotted with limited inventory, so this isn’t a show-up-whenever situation. Parking at Storybook Gardens is free.

Pumpkins After Dark returns with 10,000+ glowing pumpkins and runs events in nearly a dozen cities across Canada, the U.S., and Ireland. The London stop runs Oct. 2–31, one of several late-September-to-October runs, at a venue that already draws families for other seasons.
