BOOseum and Baby BOOseum Halloween Events at London Children’s Museum

The London Children's Museum splits its Halloween party in two, with a brand-new morning edition built for the smallest ghouls and the returning evening blowout for the bigger ones. Baby BOOseum is the new addition, aimed at kids from newborn to five and the grown-ups holding their hands.

Baby BOOseum keeps things gentle. There are candy-free trick-or-treat stations, fairy guests from Julie's Princess Empowerment, music and sound play with Kindermusik with Orly, glow sensory bins, potion-making, Pumpkin Spice Slime, and a selfie station for the costume photos.

BOOseum, the museum's biggest Halloween celebration of the year, goes louder. Trick-or-Treat Street winds through the exhibits, The Alpha DJ Company runs a Monster Mash dance party, and a glow-in-the-dark party runs alongside. Western Chemistry Club brings the slime and mad science, Western Engineering Outreach has kids coding a robot, and Western's Bone & Joint Institute sets up a Skeletons in Motion station. Fanshawe Pioneer Village handles the Jack O'Lantern crafts, with a dry ice demo and a photo station rounding things out.

It's all run by a nonprofit hands-on play museum that's been at it for nearly 50 years, with eight exhibits and more than 8,000 artifacts behind the costumes.
