Loreena McKennitt is taking The Mask and The Mirror back out for its 30th anniversary, and the second leg of that tour lands in London. The 1994 record was her fifth, and it weaves together Celtic, Spanish and Moroccan influences.
Each night runs in two halves. The first set draws on fan favourites from across her catalogue, and the second plays every song on The Mask and The Mirror. Billboard called the album "timeless and transcendent" when it came out, and it has moved more than two million copies since.
She travels with a five-piece band: Caroline Lavelle on cello, Brian Hughes on guitar, Hugh Marsh on violin, Dudley Phillips on bass and Robert Brian on drums. The anniversary tour first ran at European festivals in the summer of 2024 before this Eastern Canada run.
Her resume runs long: over 14 million albums sold, two Juno Awards, two Grammy nominations, and inductions into the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2023 and the Canadian Music Hall of Fame in 2025.
